Through Thick & Thin

At AGAPE, we have MOBS (our bible study) every month, and this time around, we got our leaders to write and create their own mobs so they can indulge into the material more, know it better, so they can focus on executing it better. The topic we chose was the second coming and the importance of evangelism.

As it states in our passage, before Christ returns, the world will undergo great great tribulation. And for some people, they feel like it is arriving pretty soon, hearing about the massive deaths in animals, birds, livestock, as well as the multiple earthquakes and disasters attacking the earth. Could this be it? The end is nearing? But again as it states, no one knows. not the angels, not even the Son. ONLY GOD knows (Matthew 24:36). And when he sends Jesus, it will be like a thief in the night (Matthew 24:42-44). Its kinda exciting, not knowing when, but sometimes people may feel and think, "is it worth waiting for?" "what if this waiting doesnt happen?" NO. We must stand firm in our faith.

Also, we have been told that Christians, the world will go through obstacles and suffering. False prophets will arise, and weak followers of Christ will fall away. But through the disasters, through the tests and attacks we face, we have hope with Christ in us. He will protect us as we stand under his wings. He died for us, for our sins, and he will always love and protect us from harm.

He Has Overcome The World.

³³I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."
