Checklist for Evangelistic Success!

Im completely astonished. The devo i just read was pretty much exactly what we did for MOBS our bible study today. It talked about the second coming, it talked about putting on the armor of light and God, and to rid of our wicked sinful ways.
Christ is coming. I kinda do believe that right now, these earthquakes and tornadoes we hear of, are the birth pains (Matthew 24:8) before the second coming. I also feel like so many people are getting sick, death is just coming out of nowhere, just today my friend told me all these prayer requests, people dying due to sickness, stress on others, people going to trial, all these struggles everyone is dealing it. My prayers really go out to them and i hope that things will get better. Is it the end? Is it nearing? Is Christ about to return?
Armor of Light and God. In an evangelistic context, we have to put on our armor. Prepare ourselves to fight against Satan's attacks. Whenever we evangelize, we are heading into Satan territory, and he'll be there to strike. Whenever you share your faith, there are bound to be questions shoot back at you. So study scripture. You have to build you knowledge to answer or explain some of these mind-boggling questions. We may not know EVERYTHING, but we at least have some evidence, so we dont just say "i dont know, ask my pastor". Its our responsibility to learn and build our faith and relationship with God. Its our responsibility to share the great news. Not our pastor's.
I confess, there are sinful ways i have not put down yet. But thankfully i have someone to guide me along. Always always always have a mentor or someone to keep you accountable. Just earlier, the second coming is filled with trials and obstacles. We have to be a unified body of Christ to fight and push through these rough times. And through support, encouragement, accountability and love, we will get through it. Be for one another, dont let one fall away, stay together as a team. Sinful ways. We all have our dark secrets. But as the Bible says, its time to put that aside, shed our evil skin, and be reborn, rededicated, and recommitted to following and loving Christ.

Is your armor of light strapped on tight?
21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
