The Spider Invites You

Temptation. Its everywhere. Its on the computer, its on the internet, its in your room, its in your bed. Its on tv, its at school, at the mall, or the pool? (the rhyming went well earlier) It is everywhere you go. Its. OMNIPRESENT. Now the main misconception is that people think that GOD is the one tempting you. The one calling your ear telling you to do certain stuff. WELL. Scratch that. God does NOT tempt. Only Satan can tempt. The reason why we get tempted is because God ALLOWS Satan to tempt us. BUT ONLY UP TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. 1 Corinthians states, 13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 The reason why God allows tempting to happen is because its a test of faith. This also shows that God changes bad to good. He allows the bad, but the outcome and result is good. To

The Spirit of Prostitution

PROSTITUTION. Definitely not a word you'd expect to see on this blog. Read the following and you'll probably understand it further. The Spirit of Prostitution Jennifer Ashely In today’s society, prostitution is looked down upon. It’s not something you want in your family. What do you think about the following statements? “I am a prostitute. And my husband married me willingly. He picked me out of hundreds of women. He’s handsome, brave, and he chose me. Even though he knew my tendency to betray him, he asked me to join him for the rest of his life.” And I have news for you: you’re a prostitute, too. How does this make you feel? Hosea was a prophet sent to show Israel its unfaithfulness to God. And God asked Hosea, a guy with an upstanding reputation, to marry a woman named Gomer – a locally known prostitute. Gomer continued to be unfaithful to Hosea throughout their marriage. Why would God ask Hosea to do something so humiliating? Because He wants us to be convinced He

From The Start,

we were all sinners. From the start as in when we were conceived in our mother's womb. Not only from THAT start, but from the start of the world. From ADAM AND EVE. They let sin into the world. now, thinking about that, doesnt that make you just a BIT frustrated? They were the ones that brought all this pain. this suffering. the tears. the hurt. the boo boo and the ouchies. It was ALL BECAUSE OF ADAM. I dont know about you, but that REALLY bothers me. Why do we all have to suffer because of this one guy who was careless. :( Not only were we sinners FROM THE START, but we never could have lived up to God's standards FROM THE START. But that's why he sent his son. Through his death, we recieved salvation as the gift. And the death, the faith, set us free from his standards. We must try to be perfect and holy and righteous. Its hard believe me. But we have to keep trying and follow his true example. So i challenge you to take that step and never give up on becoming righteou

Born This Way

iy yah. i've been getting kinda lazy. That's why there's only been two posts since February began. :( im kinda ashamed... so i hope to get this back up and running again. it sucks that its only the second month and im losing it already. COME ON. i can do this. BORN THIS WAY. im beautiful in my way, cause God makes no mistakes, im on the right track baby i was born this way! sings Lady Gaga as her new hit sky rockets up the billboard charts to #1 as the 1000th #1 hit. You were "born this way" for a reason. God "made you this way" for a reason. We were all created in the image of Christ. Each and everyone one of us, whether you see people in the streets, at intersections or at the bus stop, every single person has been hand crafted and made by God the creator himself in HIS image. Not only were we "born this way" but we were made to fulfill a purpose. What purpose? Thats for you to find out. There are many steps though. You first and foremos

while we still can

It took me a while to understand this completely. It started by saying "The night when no one can do anything is coming." WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN. But after a while i came to realize that it meant Christ's Second Coming. The fact that when he returns, we cannot do anything to gain that salvation. When he comes back, the race will be over, the game will stop, and it'll all be over. Nothing you can do in that moment will change your fate. Thats why we might as well live today, and everyday as a full sacrifice to God. Keep running the race, continue to play towards the finish line you see in the distance, keep having faith. If you do, God will grant you your prize and award when he comes back. Salvation. Dont give up. Keep pushing forward. It will be worth it in the end. verse of the night: Hebrews 4:9-10 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
