Biting Into The Apple
Unclean to Clean.
God has cleansed you and me by sending his son to die on the cross. Through his death, he has saved us from...
idols.
materialistic love.
adultery.
pride.
theft.
sexual immorality.
murder.
... etc...
guilt. this is the key word that caught my eye today. Im always engulfed in guilt whenever i commit a sin. Its exactly like Adam and Eve i find it to be. Before the sin ACTUALLY happens, its so tempting. And sometimes when you indulge, the craving grows, your appetite builds, and you just want more and more and more. Until finally the sin passes. You bite into the apple and suddenly you realize.
You realize how disgusting all you did was.
You realize the horrible, guilty monster you have become.
and guilt. Guilt just floods through you like never before. You feel horrible, you feel just a horrid monster. Ha kinda like the phantom of the opera. You hide behind the mask this whole time. You want to be hidden. I feel like that sometimes too. And i hate it. So much.
But thats why God has given his son. God has forgiven us, and if you confess, he will forgive. Remember that.
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
