Shed. For Us.

"He Shed His Blood For You"

Said over and over again, Christ died on the cross and shed his blood for you. Because of this sacrificial love, we have been forgiven and the gap between our sinful ways and heaven have been bridged together.

We have to realize and remember this great act of love for us. Because of this, we believe. Becauase of this, we give thanks. Because of this we give back. Because of this, we love others. This death and resurrection is the foundation of Christianity. Without it, there is no Christianity.

The last line of my devo says, "you were bought for a price. So bring glory to God in the way you use your body".

Christ bought the greatest glory to God, by giving up his life for the world, for mankind, and just as we should, follow his example and bring God glory through our actions. To others, to friends, to family, to strangers.

His blood, his flawless, perfect blood, was shed for the imperfect and flawed.

verse of the morning: Hebrews 9:22

²²Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
