Given Peace

"There Is Lasting Peace For Those Who Love Your Teachings"

God has given us peace.

Just like many other things mentioned in this blog, there are two differences. There's the world's version, and there's God's version. Its the same with Peace. Peace from the world... now that i think of it, i dont think there is peace in this world. There's constant conflict, war, arguments, unresolved resentment. Think about it, arent there times where you get silence and its like nothing you've ever heard of before? Its like amazing. But how long does this "worldly peace" stay for? Think about all the commotion in this world today. We constantly need music, we constantly have cars honking, and planes flying, we need something to fill our lives.

Whereas God provides true peace. It may not necessarily be the peace, meaning sound since we are constantly surrounded by this noise, and its even hard to escape it. At home, i try to escape the commotion sometimes trying to find a place in the house where i cant hear anything. But if it isnt my brother singing, its the tap running downstairs, if its not the tap, its the television thats on, if its not the television on, its the water running through the pipes. There's practically no where i can go where its quiet where i can spend time with my God, but God doesnt really mean that kind of peace.

He means peace at heart. By knowing God and believing in us, we are constantly at peace. Depending on your faith, i believe, the greater the peace, the greater the faith. With faith, we put our complete trust in Christ, we know he will take care of things. Not think, but know. And with all that, we dont worry, we dont have all this commotion and noise inside our hearts and minds. We can be free to live and glorify and serve and praise our King.
