Like Father, Like Son

Ha, today i ALMOST couldnt do devos in the morning because i woke up late and almost missed my exam. BUT. now its over! So im very happy about that. I feel kinda lost though. I dont know what to do. I have nothing to work on, nothing to study... but here's what i learnt this morning.

Like Father, Like Son.

God sent Jesus to face everything we face. Whether if it was in the past (like stoning), the present, (temptations/jealousy), or the future (who knows what). Or vice versa. We face the challenges Christ faced. It may be difficult and a long struggle as we push through it, but we need to remember to face these tests and trials from God with our eternal life in sight as our motivation. Christ decided to pick a suffering life of goodness than the life of sinful pleasures. We should also be as strong and follow him in his decision as well.

Dont be scared. Suffering is normal. and God is always by your side guiding you through it every step of the way. :)

verse of the morning: 1 Peter 4:12-13

¹² Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.¹³ But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
