Forgive and Forget!
If you confess and repent of your sins, God will overlook your sins. He never will keep your sins recorded to judge and condemn you in heaven. And since God should be our true and only example, since.. he is the best example, do the same. Dont hold grudges, dont stay mad at someone, like it says in Ephesians, 26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold." So how can you avoid this? Just simple if anyone does something wrong towards you, take the initiative to turn the leaf to the other side and forgive.
This action of not seeking revenge is... difficult, and God will guide and help you to fight against it so you dont fall into satan's grasp. By seeking revenge, not forgiving, and holding grudges, you sin and that gives Satan the foothold. So learn to forgive and forget, to love, to be understanding.
18 Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy.
19 You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
