humbleness preferred.
God prefers the humble over the arrogant. God prefers to help the humble and the crushed ones instead of the prideful sinful ones. We have to let God take complete control of our lives. The source of pride is self love. Because one loves themselves and values and prizes themselves so much, they fall into Satan's trap of pride. And with that, we become blinded. We need to learn to be humble. Let him guide and control your life and let him assure that you are on the right path. Trust him. Stay humble. and He WILL lead you to everlasting life.
15 For this is what the high and exalted One says—
he who lives forever, whose name is holy:
“I live in a high and holy place,
but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly
and to revive the heart of the contrite.
