Servants to Friends

God has changed our status. According to John 15:14-15, servants are those who are clueless about their master's doing, but us Christians on the other hand do know what God, our master is doing. So he's calling us friends than servants. Truly, if we believe, we are the children of God, and we serve him back because he sacrificed his life for us. As John states, it kinda proves how Christianity isnt a religion, but a relationship. As a religion, we have to do things to get something, like slaves, and servants, while in a relationship, we are friends and we develop the bond.

Something that REALLY caught my eye was... Proverbs 18:24. It says "24 One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Lately, i've been REALLY in like overthinking mood, and just gaajdhfakjdshfakjsdhfdaf mood. But that last line, "a friend who sticks closer than a brother"... hm. i've kinda been thinking about giving up on a certain friendship since i feel like i've been working so hard and there's not much coming out of it.. but the fact that it says that ... during this time period, and its in the bible to?! that kinda gives me hope lol.

Lastly, with all this.. and i guess for a the nice devos im getting at the right time, we need to remember to give thanks for God's grace and his greatness. He's done so much, and he's blessed us so much. So keep praying and keep being thankful for every sing bit he's done! :)

verse of the night: John 15:14-15

14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
