Risen.

It's resurrection sunday! The story did not just end with Christ's brutal torment and death on the cross, it did not end with the burial in the tomb, but just as Jesus prophesied, he rose from the grave three days later (John 2:19). This is the best part of the gospel, that Christ has risen. He has defeated the grave, he has conquered over death and he is victorious over sin. The stone was rolled away, and Jesus came out, and appeared to many!

Thomas was one of Christ's disciples, and even those Jesus appeared to him, he did not and could not believe. Jesus asked him to touch his hands, to see the nails that pierced him, to touch his side where the spear had pierced him, and it was then and only then Thomas believed. But we on the other hand have not physically seen the Saviour himself but,
29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed;blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” - John 20:29
If we could prove God, and "see" him, everyone would have believed. That's why its faith, it requires you to trust in something you cannot see and cannot prove, but you can feel his work in you. It's like the wind, you cannot see it, but you can see the trees swaying in the wind.

The bible tells us that if we put faith into our Lord Jesus Christ, he will forgive you of all our sins, we will be made right with God and best of all, we will be granted eternal hope, eternal life and salvation through God the Father.

Today, Christ has risen. Our Savior has defeated and conquered all things, and he is on our side. He is almighty and all powerful, let him reign in your life, give up all problems, anxieties, sins and worries to Him. I got to watch "The Bible" last night with my family and to see the burning bush, the parting of the Red Sea, the plagues and many more, it stuck me how powerful our God was. The best part is realizing that this God, this force is on our side, and he's watching out for us. With Him, we have conquered and we have won. Praise the Lord for He has risen today.

verse of the day: Matthew 28:5-7
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
