quote:

this really stuck out to me during devos last night, so i want to quote it. Here it is:

"The future can seem uncertain at times and often we fear for what might come. We worry about our worldly problems like what grades we get, what tests are coming and what our friends think of us. Its hard to look forward in a world that just seems filled with darkness at every turn. In our darkest hours, we must remember that God is by our side and he has already forgiven us. He comforts and protects us, guiding us in ways that we are unable to understand. God called us to turn from our sinful ways repent, because we were forgiven. Do not fear for the future, for God has a plan. Probably not a plan we can understand, but a master plan nevertheless. In this day and age where we have luxuries and lack nothing, we put very little faith in God. In the end we will lose sight of God if we turn to worldly things that will pass away. We do not know what our future holds, but if we put our faith in God, then no matter the obstacle we will be able to overcome it."

verse of the day: Joshua 1:9
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
