No Other Gospel

Galatians is the next book in the bible following 2 Corinthians. Paul has now moved onto to the church in Galatia, where they have been infiltrated and attacked by false preachers and teachers. Paul comes in to help bring them back on track, and remind them of the gospel and God's will for them.
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. - Galatians 1:3-5
Right from the get go, Paul reminds us of the gospel. That Christ gave himself to rescue us from sin, obeying and fulfilling the will of God above. You can clearly see how its at the forefront of his mind. He is always thinking about it, and we also should have the gospel engraved into our minds, constantly meditating, reflecting and thinking about it because the gospel is the true foundation of our faith.

As said, false teachers came in and skewed the gospel for the people in Galatia. Paul firmly tells us to remember what we believed and accepted, and not listen to these different twisted versions of the Gospel. I personally think that the world has a manipulated understanding of the gospel, our faith, and just Christianity as a whole.

We as followers should be changing that, radiating the true gospel and what it stands as. It starts with us. We are representatives of Christ, and people are judging and understand based on how we act, what we say and how we live.

The gospel we believe in is revealed to us through the revelation of Jesus Christ (v.12). It was not made or told by man, but divinely created and given to us as the living breathing word of God. And it is with this gospel, we live for God, not for man.

verse of the day: Galatians 1:10
10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
