Always

have hope.

be thankful.

pray.

rejoice.

in all circumstances.

The past while, i've felt like i've always been reminded of this. To rejoice, to always be thankful. But this devo has reminded me to always have hope.

"REJOICE In All Circumstances"

This one is pretty awkward and odd sometimes. First you may be thinking, in ALL circumstances? yes. in ALL circumstances. Whether it may be if someone stole your ipod, to failing a test, or winning a race to getting a new phone. We must always learn to rejoice. Praise God. All this happened for a reason. It is God's will. For instance, recently i've learnt that i was supposed to have an older brother, but due to a miscarriage, he was lost. I dont know about my parents, but if it was me, i know it'd be pretty darn hard to rejoice. You'd be thinking, what is there to rejoice about? I really dont know. But sometimes you gotta think real hard. Or maybe you have to wait it out. God has a reason behind it, and you will see it purpose behind it eventually. Rejoice! always.

"THANKFUL In All Circumstances"

Being thankful can be just as hard as rejoicing in all circumstances. But we should always be thankful. Sometimes i wake up and just realize what a great chance God has given me for another day at life. Like i talked about previously, you never know when you're gonna die. In fact, God can snap his fingers and you'll be gone (not scaring you but yea). So each day when you wake up, be thankful for another day to serve our God, to love others, and to share his great news. Not only that, look around and realize how bless you are. and be thankful for your necessities, to the things you dont even need. Thankful. Always.

"HOPE In All Circumstances"

This one is a bit.. interesting. Hope. I can understand it in bad conditions, for instance a car accident. Have hope that everything will be okay. But i think here, its talking more about having hope that God will provide. The act of relying on God. Trusting him. Putting your problems in his hands for him to hand and to take care of you. This is truly where it happens. This is true faith. If you can leave it up to God and let go. But when things are fine. Hope? I believe that its possible trying to say that we should have hope always. In one thing. The return of Christ. Everyday we should wake up having hope that Christ will return soon, to judge all, to rid of Satan, and save us all away from this wrecked world. Having hope. always.

¹⁶Rejoice always, ¹⁷ pray without ceasing, ¹⁸give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
